I enjoy making things and creating challenges for myself. I was encouraged by family and friends to set up an Etsy shop so I could make a brand for myself and get word out that I do make things and I sell them too. For a while I did sell what I made in my store, but with shipping being so expensive in Australia, I thought it would be best to just sell the patterns for what I create. That way not only do you get the joy of having the product, but the challenge of making it for yourself too!
I've been crocheting for about 12 years now (ever since I was eight years old) and have always tested what my mum could teach me. It started out as making blankets for the eldery and those in wheelchairs, into what it is today. I've only recently learnt how to read patterns and make my own, so it was quite the challenge making some if the patterns in my store!
I like to think of myself as a bitzer. I do a bit of this and a bit of that. I crochet, draw, paint, sculpt, write books (that aren't published yet but are on the way to it!), body paint and do other various makeup tutorials on my YouTube channel. I've also started to relearn how to knit, but so far I've only made it to knitting scarves as those are the quickest and easiest things to knit.
I always have at least three different projects going at a time since I like to get things moving along and have something different to do every time I make something (probably the reason why I have a lot of one-offs in my listings).
So I hope you appreciate the effort I put into making these as much as I love to make these. I am happy to receive any questions about the products I make, and if you like these patterns feel free to leave a review!
